RECEPTION OF RAW MATERIAL

The batches of wheat, previously selected, upon receipt at the plant are conveniently sampled in a representative manner.

In the Quality Control laboratory, an exhaustive analysis is carried out to determine its quality and thus proceed with the unloading, classification and segregation.

UNLOADING AND PRELIMINARY CLEANING

Once the reception of the batch is approved, it is unloaded and stored in silos, after a pre-cleaning stage with sieves and air currents.

CLEANING AND CONDITIONING

Once the mixtures have been prepared according to the pre-established quality requirements, the grain is thoroughly cleaned and conditioned for grinding, controlling the percentage of humidity, to achieve optimal conditions in the grinding stage.

GRINDING, CLASSIFICATION AND SIFTING

In this stage, the grain is opened gradually, separating the external covers of the endosperm by means of classification and sifting, which in different particle sizes is reduced in size until they are transformed into flour, separated and classified by means of sifting.
